Dr. Heung “Jason” Yoo is an enthusiastic endodontist known for his gentle approach, clinical expertise, and genuine commitment to helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their care.
His journey began in South Korea and his family moved to the United States when he was 14 years old. His father fostered a passion for hard work and service that shaped
Jason’s career. Dr. Yoo graduated Summa Cum Laude from High School and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Virginia where he also completed the Army ROTC program. He completed dental school at the University of Southern California, followed by an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Fort Lewis, WA. He spent seven years practicing as a General Dentist, building strong clinical judgment and a reputation for thoughtful, high-quality care.
Dr. Yoo eventually pursued advanced training in Endodontics, completing the Endodontic Residency Program at Fort Gordon, GA. He served as the Chief Resident and graduated as the top resident in his class.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Yoo enjoys high-intensity circuit training, spending time with friends and family, traveling, practicing Spanish, and discovering local restaurants!
