Dr. Heung “Jason” Yoo is an enthusiastic endodontist known for his gentle approach, advanced clinical expertise, and genuine commitment to helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their care. His journey began in South Korea, and after moving to the United States at fourteen, he discovered a passion for both service and healthcare that would ultimately shape his career.
Dr. Yoo graduated Summa Cum Laude from high school and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Virginia, where he also completed Army ROTC a
nd commissioned as an officer. He later earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Southern California, followed by a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Fort Lewis, Washington. He spent seven years practicing as a general dentist, building strong clinical judgment and a reputation for providing thoughtful, high-quality care.
Wanting to offer patients the highest level of specialized treatment, Dr. Yoo pursued advanced training in endodontics. He completed the Endodontic Residency Program at Fort Gordon, Georgia, where he also earned his Master’s degree in Oral Biology. During his training, he served as Chief Resident, graduated as the top resident in his class, and set a 10-year program record for the highest number of cases treated—reflecting his skill, precision, and dedication to excellence.
Today, Dr. Yoo focuses on providing comfortable, compassionate, and highly specialized root canal and microsurgical care. His patients appreciate his calm demeanor, clear communication, and ability to explain treatment options in a way that reduces fear and builds confidence. Whether a patient arrives anxious or in pain, Dr. Yoo is known for creating a supportive environment and achieving predictable, high-quality outcomes.
Outside the office, Dr. Yoo enjoys high-intensity circuit training, spending time with friends and family, traveling, practicing Spanish, and discovering hidden local restaurants. He brings the same energy, curiosity, and positivity to his personal life that he brings to his patient care.
